The bright colours we saw this Summer continue right through into AW11 but in slightly more subtle tones.   Dominant colours will be ruby red, burnt orange, teal and royal blue, purple, grey and all shades of yellow from mustard right through to egg yolk.   Again colour blocking will feature prominently but in less "in your face" kind of way than seen this Summer.  The main dominant base colour however will be black, black, black.  Indeed black is back, if ever actually went away!

Black will be seen in soft leather, silk, velvet, wool and lace.  Add one of the key highlight  colours and your look is ready for accessorising.   Statement accessories will be key for pulling the whole look together.  Choose chunky chain bracelets or the elegance of long chain necklaces from our Urban or Corrosion Collections for maximum impact.  Or you could add subtle spashes of colour with our Retro Tile Pendants, Resin Rocks necklaces or the rainbow hues of  Rainbow Connect.   In terms of style, there is an abundance to choose from this season - 40's, 50's, 70's, ladylike glamour, New England equestrian, leather dominatrix, androgynous boy/girl styling - to name but a few.  Collections from the likes of Victorian Beckham, Chanel, Stella McCartney and Gucci have all hugely influenced these key trends we will see landing up to Christmas both in fashion and interiors alike.   So the season looks like it's going to be full of fun and there's sure to be something for everyone.  Invest in hero pieces such as luxury leather knee high boots, a good pair of slim fitting jeans, tailored pencil skirts, pretty pussy-bowl blouses and soft leather biker jackets and you will be set for the season.
